    Price Check - Asus 6800Gt 128MB

Can somebody give me a price check on this for my mate. Its got all the software and box (slightly dented at one corner but still sound) and goes up to 375/900 (gpu/ram-the ram chips are rated to 900mhz any) at least (he hasnt overclocked past that). if you guys dont know what vcard this is, then here is a link:

    Benchmarks and review

By o'cing the card it gives another 500-600 points on 3Dmark05.

Any ideas on price? It retails at about £210-220, and he hasnt had it very long. The git is upgrading to a PCI-E system

the one for 196 quid on amazon is the normal 12 pipe version.

This is the 16 pipe version but only has ddr1 memory, but it overclocks really well with no problems. This version is alot better than the one on amazon (see link in first post - about 600 points on 3dmark05 or 10 frames a second in Doom3 at 1280x1024)

Saw one go on ebay for about £185 a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad piece of kit for that sort of money if you're not using v high resolutions. I thought the core would go higher than that though?

it probably will, my mate isnt that a big fan of overclocking, he only has a 15" tft at the moment so he only runs games at 1024*768 - no need to overclock in his view (I got hold of his computer for a couple of hours to overclock for a bit)
