Just bought my first shuttle..

Hi,

I have just bought my first shuttle and want to start adding parts. I am planning on buying 2x512k of DDR 3200 and also a 64 3000. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations to 1. Hardrive? i want a fast/big HD. 2. a TV card as i want to turn the shuttle into a media center.

Hard drive you should be looking at the Seagate 7200.7/8 200gb+ as they have 100gb per platter and are pretty quite, its the only HDD I have in my SFF.

One of the nice new Western Digital Caviar SE's, with either the 300 or 320 GB capacity.......have 100GB per platter as the Seagate, but are practically silent......have to put your hand on them to check they're actually running. Plus huge capacity and decent performance.
