No, you posted a price of £1,800, which was wrong; that applied to the Samsung Q30 (actually £1,775, but I shan't quibble over £25). You then stated that the price I quoted was incorrect (£799 ex VAT and delivery), which was wrong; that is the price on Dell's UK site. Your basis for this was a US price of $1,599, shipping included. Dell UK's shipping is £49, ex VAT, per system. $1,599 converts to £850 sterling (approx), which would make my maths very much IN kilter, thanks, despite your rather patronising assertion that I was being optimistic. You were wrong, davidstone28, and your first price was not correctly referenced; it was the price of a different product.

Pointing out that you were wrong isn't acting out; pointing out that you're still wrong isn't acting out, but sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting "la-la-la I'm not listening anyway" most certainly is, as is personally attacking me because you screwed up your facts.

You are acting out - you're just so wrapped up in your short fuse and tunnel vision that you're unable to step back and objectively look at your own behaviour.

Instead your own over sensitivity, founded in low-esteem, causes you take everything as a personal attack rather than looking at it as opportunity for some personal development (of yourself).

And spouting a load of spurious psychobabble doesn't change the facts either, David.

    nichomach?

Aren't you the same guy that had a tantrum recently when someone offered below asking for Acer laptop you were selling?

    If you're not, then apologies.

If you are, then you DEFINITELY have a big problem with being over sensitive and overreacting!

Well, I've never owned an Acer laptop, so I'd have been unlikely to be selling one, so that would be someone else.

edit: Weren't you the person warned by mods for pointlessly spamming threads in the For Sale forum? I believe the thread concerning the Acer was started by mightynimrod, you decided to spam it, he objected, and you were warned by 5cupa that if you kept on spamming, you'd have your access to the forum cut. Would that be the thread you were talking about?

Why is it more expensive in the home section?

Can the X300 be bought in the UK? I can only find it on Dell's US site.

The X300 looks like a very nice machine, apart from the fact it's an Inspiron and built like crap, and the battery hangs out the back.
