Actually, looks a VERY similar chassis to the current X300, and I can say that that is a stonkingly good ultralite. A lot of ultralites seem to compromise on connectivity (a dongle for this, a port replicator for that...) but the X300 doesn't; wired and wireless LAN, 56k modem and (IIRC) 2 USB ports plus IEEE1394, IrDA and Bluetooth and an SD cardreader. That one only weighs in at 1.3kg, and if this one has similar connectivity, they'll have a winner.
Hmm me likes, I wonder if my new office laptop will have a budget for it

Very pretty...thinner than a piece of paper but I wonder what that keyboard is like to type on? Bounce-a-rama? But £1,800????
I like the new mini XC cube though.
If it's like the X300 keyboard it's not very bouncy at all. There's limited key travel, but that's the only downside. Where'd the £1800 come from, BTW? It starts at £799 ex VAT and delivery.
2nd review article sonny,
That's the price for the Samsung Q30, not the Dell X1 rebadge. Sonny.
Personally, I find it helpful to look at the price of the product under discussion.
According to that review, its $1600 for the most basic 1.1ghz Pentium M spec. If that equates to £799 either your maths is out of kilter or you're very optimistic.
You need to relax sonny - you're twisting yourself into a pretzel over nothing.
I suggest that you, hey, radical suggestion, actually look at the price from the Dell link? Small business section. £799 ex VAT and delivery. Home section, £996 inc VAT and delivery. And it STILL doesn't equate to £1,800. Oh, and $1,599 converts to almost exactly £851. Or £799 + shipping, excluding taxes. For those that can count. Or use a currency converter. And I suggest that you drop the patronising smugness until you can actually do the sums to back it up. Fair enough?

Oooh, temper temper......
DO grow up, there's a good chap .
Someone's buttons are sure being pushed......
Not the ones on your calculator, apparently...
Actually its the buttons in your head which when pushed, cause you to subconsciously act out when you perceive there to be an external threat to your [low] self-esteem.
So...can't admit that you've got your facts completely wrong, so you attack the person pointing that out - and then you reckon THEY'RE acting out?
The prices I mentioned are correctly referenced from those links posted. If the same spec can be bought for less then good luck to whoever is buying one.
And yes, you are acting out.
