    Cheap gaming mouse suggestions?

I've currently got a Logitech G302 which has a LMB problem where it double clicks and so need to ditch it unfortunately. It has been about 4 years since I've looked at mice and they all seem so... expensive?

This one was picked up as an emergency and replaced the Razer Mamba before it just fine but here we are.

Has anyone got any suggestions for something cheapish, wired and has back/forward buttons where the thumb rests? Adjustable DPI on the flow would be nice too.

The newer model of this appears to be £40 which just feels a bit expensive.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

logitech have brought back the MX518. It's worth the money. The old ones were £27 back in the day so with inflation and the pound crash I can believe they're selling for £40 these days sadly.

alternatively the G400 (also logitech) which was for a while the MX518 replacement, and virually identical to the new MX518 in appearance at least (not sure on specs)

    Re: Cheap gaming mouse suggestions?

Logitech mice have the button problem because they started using cheaper Chinese made Omron switches(not the Japanese ones),so there are guides to either replace the switches with better ones,or take apart the switch and rebend the metal bits inside it.

It’s always better to go for quality mouse than a cheaper mouse
I got the SteelSeries Sensei 310 Gaming Mouse, really good and works perfectly after 2 years still

I'd recommend going to a physical store and trying a few out if possible - I must've gone through at least 5-6 mice when trying to replace my Logitech G500, just because I couldn't find a mouse that suited my grip. I ended up with a Logitech G203 (about £25) which is just about perfect for me.

+1 for Glorious model D. Amazing mouse. Very light, glides well. I especially like the cable which doesn't feel as cheap as a lot of other mice.

    Re: Cheap gaming mouse suggestions?

Amazon usually drops the price of Logitech stuff in sales. I remember the g203 or the previous equivalent could be had for around ~£15.

Bought a Logitech G203 Prodigy for my sons rig. Very nice to use. nice an light if that's your thing. I use a Steel Series Rival 110 which now seemingly costs a lot more than the £29 i paid for it. of the to, the Logitech seem soother BUT that might be down to the 144hz monitor he has. No complaints on the Steel Series mouse. Again nice and light as that's how i like my mice.

For all my life I was always a patron of razer and their Deathadder. It may not be one of the cheapest option starting at about $50. However, the quality is amazing and every mouse i owned, 2 of them to be exact, have worked perfectly for years

The logitech g203 seems like a very well priced mouse with good performance.

    Re: Cheap gaming mouse suggestions?

I got myself an m65 elite for £35 on Scan refurbed. Love it, previously had a different corsair mouse another refurb from scan which lasted years, the middle click started to not respond aswell so thought I would give it a go. I read somewhere refurbs are often better than brand new as they go through more testing? Who knows but I am happy

Nothing seems to last these days (Chinese crap), especially microswitches. If you have a soldering iron, why don't you try and fix it yourself? The microswitches aren't that expensive and it would be a shame to throw away a good mouse. Having said that, you can get a decent mouse on Amazon.co.uk for only £20.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/zelotes-But...8295162&sr=8-1

This is the best mouse I've ever bought, but unfortunately, they don't make them any more so I only use it for gaming and have a spare mouse for everything else.

    Re: Cheap gaming mouse suggestions?

My current one is the Tesoro Gandiva H1L which I'm quite happy with, I got it on an amazon sale a couple of years back, it's quite a flat mouse not a "humpy" one

my reasons for getting it were, 1 cheap at the time, 2 good high pole rate laser sensor (ADNS-9800), 3 dpi up/down selection (many cheap mice cycle between dpi settings makes quick on-the-fly dpi adjustment almost impossible)
