    Fuji 2800z in Webcam Mode?

Is there some secret to getting this to work as I don't have a clue.

    Cheers

If it's similar to the Fuji A202 it is buried in the OPTIONS MENU. Simply set the USB MODE from PC to CAM (or similar). That way when you plug it in it will be detected and used as webcam instead of a storage device (to transfer pics off). Be sure to shine a bright light at your face and expect very low FPS, it's usable but not anywhere near good.

I've got the same camera - picture quality is superb, akin to that of much more expensive/higher MP cameras.

Sadly the webcam feature is naff. WAY too dark. It's useless.

Howard, thank you, I hope I get things right more than wrong ... and avoid being overly indepth or lengthly (I often fail on that one). Prodigy the A202 is absolutely superb, Fuji have always been right at the top for their d.cams but yet offered them among the lowest prices too, amazing. Of course the webcam is pretty dire but functional on a basic level (like onboard gfx LOL). It's a little strange because the audio-less camcorder ability is good unless the light levels are pretty low ... about time Fuji brought out the next gen really?
