Thanks Lu-tze, I was begining to think asus didn't make an ultra model. Scan have the A8N in which appears to be non-ultra and a froogle search doesn't bring up many stores I recognise. The board layout seems the same though with regards to clearance of the chipset. I'm trying to work out TechFever is a good store or not as they have it at a bargain £70. I think I can forgo the extra 4 sata controllers with the absence of the Silicon Image chip.
One question though, Storm PC said in another thread that it was not a good idea to use the chipset supplied sata connectors if you planned to overclock. How serious a problem is this? I plan to hit about a 250Mhz fsb with my Ballistix ram so would it be worth paying for the SLI Deluxe for the extra sata chip in terms of stability?
Thanks Ben for the update on availability Ben
I'll be placing my order very shortly.
You should be fine on an nForce4 board (on an nForce3 board you can only go past 240 on 2 of the 4 chipset SATA channels). Storm is a bit of an "extreme" overclocker who probably pushes the boundaries more than 95% of overclockers.Originally Posted by dodgybob

Thanks for the advice Buff. Looks like I should be ok with the Ultra then, yay!
