Best motherboard chipset for P4 Setup...?

Basically I'm going to be purchasing a new motherboard soon for a secondary machine, specs will be:

Intel P4 2.4C (800FSB and HT)
1Gb of DDR400 (PC3200) in two 512mb Modules
ATI 9800Pro AGP Graphics Card
120 Gb Western Digital 8mb Cache Hard Drive (IDE)
and the other normal bits and bobs.

Basically there are a fair few motherboards out there for that kind of setup, I would like to know which chipset will give me the best performance. That way it reduces my choices and helps me pick a motherboard quicker .

I'm not going to be overclocking at all and the board needs to be totally stable, so the best standard performance chipset would be great.

ATX, as for the IC7, I'd like to steer clear of Abit. Had a good run with them but time to move on.

Well, I'd have gone for the Abit myself, but the 875P chipset aspect of it would be something I'd look for - how about the Asus P4C800-E?

I have the gigabyte GA 8IPE1000 Pro-G which seems to have pretty much the same features as the asus P4P800 DeluxeE but its cheaper. Got 'Memory Intelligent Booster' which means its basically the same as a 875 board

Loved my ABIT IC-7 MAX3, recommended from me. No personal experience of the ASUS but I know a black motherboard has got to be better than one the colour of dogs.... well brown anyway

Get the P4P800, can't argue with 270FSB, CPU and RAM depending

Thanks for all the replies guys, yeah like I said it's a pretty well used setup so I'm not stealing anyones Pc's (Or am I? ). Decided to use the IC7 in my current rig (soon to be AMD 64) rather than sell it.

I have to say the Asus p4C800E deluxe (I875 chipset) is is good solid board, oc is no problem with this board, I did have an Abit IC7 max 3 but the chipset cooling fan died, so (trying not to sound like a fan boy) I recommend the p4c800e deluxe

I must admit I've heard good things about that board, only the price puts me off. That and it is overkill for what I want the board for.

I don't think theres much between the ASUS or Abit offerings
