    pick me any 2 gig ram from tekheads? as im buying from there. try to keep it close to 100

    No. I always recommend 1GB of high performance RAM for gaming and especially for benching. Futile asked specifically about 2GB kits, I did not recommend it. 2GB is way overkill for gamers.

    The title of this thread has to do with whether it is worth it or not to get dual channel kits.

    I'd agree with this statement but saying that I got a good performance increase in BF2 with 2Gb compared to a single 1Gb stick - though BF2 is not really indicitive of memory requirements for games these days....

    .... and just to contradict myself for the final time - San Andreas runs much better with 2Gb also
