Price Check: 9800Pro with Arctic Cooling silencer

I have an OEM 9800 Pro 128Mb bought from Aria about 15 or 16 months ago to which I installed an Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer (the specific 9800Pro model, not the generic ATI one) about 6 months ago. I've since replaced the card with an X800XL and wondered what the general feeling on a fair price for the used 9800 Pro would be?

Sorry, should have said, it's been used for gaming for about 1 year, standard clock speeds. Did o/c it a little but saw no real boost in speed so returned to standard clocks after about 2 days of testing. I never set the clocks higher than standard frequencies for an XT model. The core on the chip is an R360 (as in the 9800XT) I did try it with an XT BIOS for a while (same time as running it at XT frequencies) but as I said, saw no real performance boost so returned everything to stock as it is now.

somewhere around £65/£70 is the going rate. More on fleabay if you find the right chump... i mean buyer

That said tho, some etailers are punting these off new (minus the fancy cooler) for about £80-£90, I take it you've allowed for the Arctic Cooling thingy in that estimation?

no no i'm not worried about getting every last penny out of them, certainly not as to want to sell separately (think i destroyed the original cooler while removing it ) what I meant was if they're going for about £80ish new and rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishey reckoned about £65-£70 for mine, I wouldn't have thought mine would be worth that much second hand, so was he pushing the estimate up considering the cooler!

Tis a nice card, served me very well but I play Lock On and anyone whos ever seen that sim knows what a voracious appetite for hardware it has...
