dvd writer problem

Hey. Ive owned a pioneer dvr-108 for about 9 months and its been excellent up until now. Recently though its starting spitting out disks when I try and burn them at anything else other 4x. and its not guaranteed at that speed either.

I updated the firmware but that made no difference. It reads and writes cd's fine but any dvd media even simple data it just fails no matter what software ive used.

Im using datawrite titanium's. They always used to write at 12x but no more.

hmm RMA time, i found thou that i can actually write the titaniums at 12x, they really only get upto 8x in my Phillips DVDR

I think your best bet would be to RMA it if its only 9 months old.

probably right. But i got it from overclockers and i dont like RMA with those boys. we'll see.

i doubt ocuk will accept it after 9 months, you will need to rma with plextor http://www.plextor.be/technicalservi...=RMA%20Request
