Unload the video drivers and run SETI. Check your load temps. Browse the internet while running SETI for a couple of hours. If your system is stable then it's not temps.

Uninstall all video driver related stuff and use Driver Cleaner to make sure you delete it all. Manually remove the nVidia folders relating to the video drivers if Driver Cleaner didn't delete them all.

Verify that your motherboard nVidia drivers are loaded properly (install/repair if you have to). Download the latest video drivers from nVidia's website and install them.

After you install them DO NOT TWEAK THEM IN ANY WAY! LEAVE THE SETTINGS AT DEFAULT.

If it only crashes on certain games you may want to reinstall those games as well.

If you still have problems, sell the 6800GT and buy a real graphics card (ATI ) and then you will be styling!

got a jeantech 600watt its cheap and works
dont seem to be having the problem anymore
