I've seen that price boab, cheer s- but I don't want a bare board (I'm an inexperienced pc builder!) - I want the full retail package. I will get hold of a venice 3000 eventually for around £80 - just need patience and a bit of luck! I've just purchased a power supply - It was in the hexus bargains section under gladiator computers, theyre doing a Hiper 480W ATX2.2 PSU with a pci express connector for £44.64 including delivery = bargain. I'm not bothered about sli or sli compatible psus - It just costs more and I don't plan on using sli at all. However - would the psu I've just bought run the msi sli platinum board with a single gfx card no probs or would I have to get the ultra instead?

btw I'm having a extremely strange problem on the scan website - everytime I click on a item to buy it a screen comes up saying 'your basket is empty'. I've tried logging in with the same results. Do scan not want me to buy from them or something! Is it a cookie problem? Any help here would b great.

    update:

I've bought/ordered almost everything for the new build and so far within my price ranges. I bought the samsung 200gb spinpoint sata 2 hd for £65, an Epox nforce 4 ultra for £75 and a 2 months old connect3d x800xl pci-e for £148 on ebay (including postage). The card is a little less powerful than I was hoping but for the price I'm very happy - I can spend a little more on the cpu now! Cheers everyone for the advice.
