    Soundcard with optical out

I keep thinking about getting myself a set of Logitech Z-5500s, but would really like to make use of the optical input it has (I think, ignore this whole thread if it doesnt ) my current Audigy 2 ZS doesn't have an optical connection. I'm not sure if the new X-Fis will, can someone fill me in here? Also, what are the alternatives? After making the switch to optical on my PS2 I've fallen in love

    Cheers,

    Tobe

If so there is hardly any difference between the coax connection and optical,to my ears anyway.

You can get an Optical to Coax box for £10+

They have no difference really. Same principal behind both

Oh wait, now I know why there was such a difference between optical on my PS2 and before I used it.. before I used it I was using SCART and going through the TV speakers, now its hooked upto my pioneer home theatre, heh
