best tip is to try and find some info about it before u go. ie how long has it been running? amount of traders? cost to get it? etc. The people who run bowlers used to have a magazine called something like northern computer traders which used to have some useful info. Bowlers used to be good when it was only a couple of quid to get in but then it went to £5 so unless u were defo gunna buy something it was a bit of a steep entrance price, that said u could useually save a few quid on some items

Its good to get an air of whats up for sale.

But i have been to one once, prices are more expensive than the cheapest onlin retailers, altho they normally are willing to strike a deal, especially at the end of the fair.

However the one i went to was dominated by chipped PS2 conversions, emulators, games on a cd, and possibly some pirated stuff. But the majority of it was old stuff, i.e. for older pcs etc, but for the experience its not too bad

Haven't been to one for ages (nearest one is in TCR), I think buying online is cheaper than going to fairs?
