i do like the BIG widescreens rather than have say 2x19
EDIT: although i do have 2x19" which dont get me wrong is super hotness, but some of those widescreen bad boys are quality

New case, new desk, still the same old LG 1710 S TFT though.
johnny is right. It beats 2x19 simply because you don't have an annoying border between the two and this is a HD panel (you got to see one to believe it!).
Here's another shot for comparison. This is the first time I saw one in the flesh, in Singapore, and it was playing Mulan on it..hence the little girl starring at it in awe
The only thing I'd be concerned about with jumbo widescreen jobbies is aspect ratio in games.. does it render properly and all that?.. I did work with a 24" widescreen sony CRT years ago, and it was fan-bloody-tastic for working in windows and dvds, never did try gaming on it (the tnt2 in the computer was lacking grunt to try anyway).Originally Posted by johnny02004976
