    Sempron 2300: Clocker?

I decided to give my little 2300 in my spare pc, a tweak today.

What volts are you guys running on these Semprons? to hold a 200 fsb, bearing in mind the multi is locked on them.

Mem is PC3200, and I have the timings slacker than an empty tesco bag

But it wont hold stable and I'm loathe to go above 1.75 v though the mobo goes to national grid volts

Heatsink in on nicely, Arctic 5, and case is quite cool.

Runs 100% at 333 speed. Was just hoping for a 400 fsb.

    Cheers guys.

I've got several different chips though I just wanted to see if this would go the distance.

    Seems not.

Killed a HDD last night too...my trusty Fujitsu, after about 100 reboots went

CLONK and that was it. Game over!

I always kept that as a spare cos it never failed me.

In the bin now. Fresh install going in now

Tried a better PSU too. Tried swapping the vid card out in case their was an AGP issue.

It's just NOT having any of the 200/400 fsb!

Bugger. Thats 4 nforce 2's I've owned and NONE have ever hit 200/400 with the chip I buy with them.

and NO I'm not gonna try swapping all the cpu's around!
