    corsair xms memory failure

    Hi

    bought some XMS memory from an ebay sale, unfortunately its Duff - if they seller won't take it back, whats the chances of an RMA from corsair?

    I wouldn't hold your breath, why don't you just 'RMA' it to the guy you bought it off?

    guy I bought it from is saying it "needs to run on 2.9volts" and wont work on spd settings - is he talking nonsense?

    yes he should be.

    but no harm in trying it, i know id rather run at 2.9v than go through the hassle of an RMA.
