New rig wont boot!!!

I built my new rig this morning but it wont boot up I have tried it with out stuff like the HDD plugged in.
allthough I have found something, when I remove the 4-pin power connecter from my mobo it boots up
any help would be brillant as I reallly want to get my new rig up and running today. thank's in advance.

Just do the normal, check every power connection at least four times etc. As it boots when your extra power connnector is removed I reckon your mobo or PSU could be thr problem, try using different ones if possible etc.
