I am having trouble with the sound on my board.

To cut a long story short, I have had to re-install the NVidia drivers a number of times and I think that the Microsft Update detection overides the NVidia multimedia software with someting that does not work! (No real suprise there then)

Anyway, one of the symptoms is I get CD Audio music coming through as Wave Device on the Soundstorm mixer. Also, I am not able to get any real volume. Only something that would easily get a baby to sleep.

Any advice?
