Just read this review at PureOverclock about the all new Arctic Coolers, whom as a company I hold in very high regard, using their NV range on my CPU and Freezer 64 for my CPU.
But these..... well, the reviewer of the website seems to generally like them, and yes, they seem to cool the GPU well etc etc.
But are they really a step forward? One of the most impressive things of the NV range is that it exhausts the hot air out of the case, but these actually heat up the motherboard & internals, never mind general ambient heat inside the case!
I can only see this as a step backwards in my view, and hope that Arctic Cooler very quickly redesign them to vent out the back.
Progress? Dont think so...
