    cheap as chips and boy do they make white stuff glow ( I got confused at 3 am on Saturday and thought briefly that there was an evil monkey in my closet )

    2006? It's hard to say. I have bought a new case, mobo, cpu, gfx card and 7800GT, but they only replaced hardware that was of slightly lower spec, so I haven't been blown away by the change.

    If I had to single ones out, the case (Gbyte Aurora) is sooo much quieter than my old XClio. It really makes a difference. The CPU upgrade from S754 A64 3200 to S939 A34 3700 was also a noticeable improvement.

    I'd have to go for the case.

    Potential for the rest of the year is good though. I could get a PS3, a new monitor, some nice games are coming out, or even possibly a UMPC!
