I have the netgear routers and love them, have also found belkin to be very good mostly.
The benefit of the Pre-N's isn't the speed, it's the reliability at distance - that's what constantly p'd me off about wireless-g.
Just my opinion, but don't want you to waste money when an extra £20 or £30 will get you a much better product...

I'm running a Logitech MX700 with a steelpad QCK and they're very happy together
Also running 2 spinpoints and they're quiet as, so big thumbs up on them

I run a mx1000 with a steelpad qck. The pad is pretty good and for 6 quid is good value. I run a tagan psu and recommend them - very stable and quiet.
I would also drop the x2 4200 and either go for a x2 3800 (if you must have dual core) and put a mild overclock on it or I would get an opteron 146 for £130 and overclock this to 2.7-3.0Ghz, why would I do this you may ask, well the money saved would go on a better gfx card.

The problem is to get the 3800 to 4200 it would probably need better ram, the htt has got to go up by 20MHz.
Whats better for gaming a 3800 with a 1900xt or a 4200 with a 7800GT
Its got to be the the 1900xt right? How far behind is the 3800 from the 4200?
EDIT: This doesnt help the fact it needs to drop in price a bit!!!

you can still run on a divider when getting from 3800 to 4200.. get the 10x multi with a 240MHz HTT (333 divider), you're technically having ur memory still running around 200MHz..

You do need a dvd decoder whatever software you decide to use, options include powerdvd, windvd, and a few others. I wouldn't buy a copy because the likelihood is that you'll get a oem copy included with your gfx card.
I am hoping i will get one, if not ill have to get an extra one. Different reviews say there are different bundles with the card i have chosen.
