    Monitor hard drive activity?

Hi, I've been googling for some program that will do this, but is there anyone who knows of a free program that will tell you the usage activity of your hard drive?

I don't mean how much free space is left, I mean more like showing me the real-time Kbps rate of data to/from the specified hard drive(s)? Or something like that? Possibly it could break it down into read rates and write rates? Is there anything that will do that?

    Thanks

yeah, Windows XP can do this - well i think thats what you're after. Or are you after analysing individual programs accessing it? That one I don't know about.

    Thanks,

I don't really need to track individual programs accesing the hard drive, but more like the total hard drive usage in terms of overall read and write rates.

Like a bitrate monitor or something. For example, maybe the program would report that drive C is currently being accessed at 10Mbps or something.
