Hey guys, as christmas draws closer i thought id spend a liddul bit of money and get myself a dvd player.... but then i heard someone on IRC saying they had a little pc that they just stuck under their TV and they played DVD's and DivX on their tv, not a bad idea i thought So ive had a look about the web and seen a few items i like, id just like to know if any of you have used these items and can recomend them

Case: Venus CP668 Silver Mini Case
Motherboard: Via Epia-M 10000 Nemehiah
Ram: Low Profile 512mb PC2100 DDR
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 80GB
CD-Rom Drive: Pioneer DVD-120S Slot Silver

And just for tidyness, i thought about getting some rounded IDE cables, will These cables be short enough for such a small case?

I think A20BF from maplins is a nicer case tbh. Ive had one on pre-order for nearly a month now though

Single ended cables ROCK though! It clears so much faf from inside your case just having the connectors you need.

Yea, if its too slow you could always stick a tuli cele in it and stick a 7v papst on it - still uber quiet!

dunno about the space in there mate - you'd have to stick a lowprofile cooler on with a tuli - i got a custom cut pasv heatsink atm
