    Internet going weird.

On a new install of windows xp media center 2005 after around 3 hours my internet will not work! I have tried repair, dns flush, reset router... Then I reboot it's fine.

What do some people suggest I do?

Have you got the right drivers installed? I only say this because all the stuff I went to install on mce didnt like standard xp drivers, needed special mce ones

It worked before... Someone told me to install IPv6 on the network port so I'll have to wait and see.

You shouldn't need to touch IPv6 unless the network you are connecting to specifically requires this.

How are you connecting? modem or router? ADSL, cable or dialup? ISP?

when it goes, can you still get the routers admin pages?

Any chance you have been moved to a MaxADSL product? there is supposed to be some instability when the line is fist enabled for Max, basically until the system in the exchange is happy with the connection and line conditions.

well it's either the NIC in your system, a driver issue or your router is going bad. I would see if i could borrow a modem or router from someone for a while. That should narrow it down
