Disk Boot Faliure

everytime i boot up it says boot disc faliure! ive tried reseting the cmos but still nohitng

Somebody has to ask the staggeringly dumb, so it might as well be me...

I assume it's a SATA drive - the A8N-SLi Deluxe has two SATA RAID controllers; one integrated into the chipset, one Silicon Image. Which one are you trying to use? Is the boot order in the BIOS set to recognize that as the first boot device?

soreted said somehtign bout silicone image on start up, i restat the sata cable into motherboard and it worked. ty for help guys
