an ethernet wirless bridge does seem to me more expensive than a usb alternative.
I dont know whether it has any advantages over usb.

You could use a shuttle PN15 or PN18 with an intenal USB header. All you would have to do then is drill a small hole in your case for the antenna to go through and fix the very light module to the case with selotape or something. PN15 would be very good for this.

    I meant this:

It is really quite small and works fine, i change my rig a lot and have never managed to break it or damage it through it sticking out.

:O that looks pretty perfect, wasnt what i was looking for, but i have a DLink gaming router, so that AP would be perfect for it, i could attach my XBox 360 to it as well.

yeah but you have an externally mounted rad, which sticks out further than the usb dongle, i dont, lol, my case is pretty long and is only just going to fit in the hole as it is.

That is EXACTLY the kind of thing i was looking for!! However, i'm now thinking the whole AP idea might be a better one. thanks though

    - well that's something

As for the original problem... I'd say a USB dongle would be a solution.

I use one of these ethernet to wireless devices. There is a 5 port version for another quid. It says it is an access point, but works in either direction and is pretty cheap at 32 quid. They turn up on offer on "today only" quite often too (I got a couple last week).

Edit: They don't come with an ethernet cable, you need to allow another few pence for one

off topic: Darkhorse, nice outside mounted double rad uve got there

on topic: Dragonstar, if you decide to go for the usb extension cable thing, you could just snip the usb plug off at the end and get some small cable jumper thingies from maplin to put on the end of the wires. that way u can hook it up to an internal usb pin setup

if you need an extension cable thingy, ive got one that i got with my logitech mouse which i dont use as my mouse has extended range. if you need it give me a shout.

also, is it because the motherboard is out of pci slots, or because u cant access any more of them because of room issues with the 2 GTx's?

if its a room issue, you can get a pci extension slot from kustompcs which will allow you to run the ribbon cables out under the heatsinks on the gtx, to allow u to attach the wireless card
