    Latest overclock

Got my new 2400AXP delievered today, installed it, gave it a quick test with memtest-86 V3.0.

Seems great, its now running at 2345.6 (130.3*18), Im gonna try upping the FSB and lowering the Multiplyer when the goop has taken time to settle, or whatever the technical term is. On Abit NF7-S, with PC2700 Crucial 256Mb*2 (dual channel setup).

Its currently running at 54.5^C, 1.85V Core, and using my Coolermaster HAC-V81 XDream screaming at its maximum RPM of 4936.

Seems to be stable, as I complteted the memtest without error, and since then Ive being using windows (running C&C Generals, and Opera/Winamp) for about 6 hours.

So, im happy, almost a whole Ghz upgrade from my 1600+ polaminio(sp?).

It should, but the CPU is more stable at 130*18, so i went with that.

Well, I went with that until about 30mins ago, and upped it to 135, now im at 2435.5. Which was about my goal.

Anyway, anybody got a copy of the Hexus PiFast.zip file on thier boxes?

You hadnt tried upping the volt?

Also, upp the DDR and the chipset voltages, as that will help with the increased speeds of both.

Plus, as the goop on the HSF sets up its getting cooler, 53.5^C at the mo. Dunno how low it will end up though. Hopefully lower than that!

He has upped the voltage, i'd imagine that his is a dlt3c hence has a default of 1.5 rather than the 1.625 in his sig.

I think what he meant was that your voltage was a bit high when compared to his.

    Fairy snuff.

And, also Ive just dropped a few Mhz on the FSB, as it bluescreened during a heavy session of C&C:Generals.

Now at 133*18=2405.5. Still happy with that!

Where is your mobo then, and what is it?

    CPU/Memory affect things as well.

Until it gets sorted I'm stuck on mum and dad's old k6-2 500

I don't know how you do it, acidrainy

I've got pretty much the same setup as you, but I can't run Prime95 for longer than an hour @ 2.3ghz, even with Vcore at 1.85V and all the cooling I have on max!
