Hi,
I was just sitting at my computer, as usual, listening to some music and writing a Word document when I get the blue screen of death (I'm running Windows XP professional).
I don't have time to read it before my system reboots itself. It tries to load Windows but I get another blue screen before it can saying that there might be errors on my hard drive due to a hardware fault and it won't let me go any further.
So I reboot again but this time nothing. All I get it a series of beep coming from my motherboard (one long beep, repeated every 2 seconds or so).
I ripped my computer down to just the CPU, motherboard, RAM and video card (full machine spec is in my sig) and still got the same beeping. I removed the video card and still the same.
Does anyone know what my problem might be? Dead CPU? Dead RAM? Dead motherboard?
Thanks.
