I've noticed that if I get a US layout of the G15 it shaves a tenner off the cost of it... that certainly makes it tempting...

Though I can't help but feel the LCD screen will go to waste on me

    In game stats primarly

however it's entirely programable, I've seen my friends display MSN messages, Winamp information/graphics equalizers, weather info, news headlines.

Basically anything you can think of... very cool, but also very gimicky... it's still tempting though

Yah but then you'll be stuck with US layout

Personally I'd go for the gaming keyboard if you can justify the price

Nah ya not mate, the keyboard layout is all software, the only thing that'll happen when changing it to a UK layout is that a few of the keys will say different things on them to what they actually do... but lets be honest, that's not a problem

I went for the G15 in the end, saving a tenner on it was a nice bonus

Glad to see another G15 user, shame noone mentioned that if you game heavily on it after 6 monbths you wont have any pain left on the keys. Not sure if they have changed that hence the recent price hikes but you want to take that into account.

I now have two G15's lying around, one with no USB connector or feet as I have to send that back to logitech as proof it is no longer in use.

Considering getting a Saitek Eclipse now, although the LCD is fantastic.

See! (God I miss those winter temps)

i just wondered, as many top keyboards these days are non-wireless,,,
does wireless prohibit the ability to respond well to multiple key pressing? or is it another issue

    woah keyboard advances! lol

    RAptor - looks ugly, bleh
New ms one makes my natural pr0 look like a stone age invention! lol makes me want it!

Im quite skeptical on the "programmable buttons" on the website, they highlight those 5 middle buttons which means that its only 5... what about the search and mail buttons, I don't use them. On my current natural pro they are assigned to steam and windows media player classic, respectively! I couldn't use a keyboard without media hotkeys!

SO yea the MS one or the logitech G15 if you like the LCD
    MS tis cheap too!

Try a logictech media elite http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=272987 Very thin, nice keypresses and media buttons. Terrible photo on there, but theres plenty more on google

It's also spill proof which comes in handy for clumsy gits like me. Pretty soolid too, this one has lasted 6months which when used by my hands is a long time.

EDIT: didn't see the second page :B

    yer they look pimp,

if you want out and out quality i would sugest what i have, its a raptor keyboard, have a look around i know they are expensive, mine was 80 quid i think but its so good, its got usb ports, it has keys that can be blocked out so if you hit them in game nothing happens and u stay alive it has a brilliant feel, a few glow in the dark keys for you if you need em

    heres the link http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=299247

it really does just feel amazing to use.

I'm going to use my budget one until the Optimus keyboard comes out; I think it may be a let down, but we can dream.
