Mouse Doesn't Install on Machine

First of all the mouse is called the R2 Mark II Gaming Mouse and it doesn't use drivers. It has it's own CPU and memory in it. You can see it here at http://gamingmouse.com. Here is my problem: it is an USB device and should automatically install itself. My other mouse, which is a microsoft Trackball Optical, works as soon as I plug it in. I'm totally confused here. The mouse definitely has power running to it (it lights up) but just won't move on the screen. And it works completely on my dad's laptop.
I tried contacting the manufacturer but they haven't helped much. Actually, after consecutive days of them replying to me they have stopped for 2 days now.
So, I'm wondering if I overlooked something that could be causing this problem.

What? Is there an option in the BIOS for that called enable/disable Legacy USB support? I'll give it a try. Thanks.
