Bit of component advice

After a bit of help - bit new to this PC build stuff

Am looking into building a new Core Duo system, and have a couple of questions about components to go in. Am also on a budget so any ideas for cost reductions accepted ! Have been through the forums to pick out some recommendations others have used.

What will the real performance difference be between these memories ? Will I notice any difference ?

• 2Gb (2X1Gb) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC5400 (667)
• 2GB (2X1GB) Corsair Value Select, DDR2 PC5400 (667)

Am looking at the Coolermaster Centurion RC-532 case. Is this any good ?

On the graphics card front is this card OK ? Play BF2 / CS2 etc.

• 256MB Palit 7600GT Sonic, PCI-E(x16), Mem 1500MHz, GPU 575MHz, 12Pipes, D-Sub/Dual Link DVI/HDTV SLI

Have I missed anything ?

The more expensive memory will have a small effect, probably not worth paying the extra for unless you really want to. Good article here:

Graphics card should be fine, nothing stellar but it will get the job done. As always the more you pay the more you get. Might be worth looking at the Palit 7900gs from Scan, its only £116 and will get you a lot more performance.

Nice one cheers. May try and pick up a 2nd hand cheap 7800GTX instead

Higher-grade memory will only really benefit you if you're overclocking, and even then, I know that some people have good experiences with Corsairs VS range then.

The money would probably be better spent on a 7800GTX, or a 7900GT...if you can pick one of those up cheap instead.

I think his current selected psu is overkill for that system so he will be going for mega overkill
