New Speakers and keyboard.

I'm in the process of updating my computer to an intel conroe rig,
From my old pc i've got a logitech media elite keyboard and some creative Inspire 5800 5.1 Speakers.

I've had a look around and like the look of the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000, anyone got one of these? are they any good?

With the speakers i was looking at getting a good set of 2.1's(i don't have enough room for all of my speakers at the mo..i've only got 4 connected) something like Logitech's Z-2300. Would this be a step up in sound quality due to better speakers, or worse as they're only 2.1. I'll be using an audigy2 zs with the speakers.
Any thought's would be great
