    Which ADSL Router??

I'm looking at a Wireless ADSL Router and am undecided between

    Linksys (WAG354G @ £38.68 & P&P)
    Netgear DG834PN RangeMax MIMO-G (£67.99 & P&P)
    Netgear DG834G (£55.76 & P&P)

    ...or something else?????????

What do you reckon? I've always gone with Linksys until recently, but have heard bad things about Netgear stuff on these forums.

    Which one would you recommend?

Thompson SpeedTouch 585 - very reliable. I'm using a Speedtouch 580 and it's excellent, never had an issue with it.

Only negative is that it is 54g.

fwiw I'd go for one of the cheaper ones. I wouldn't bother with the "pre-N mimo" stuff yet unless you really really need the extra speed wireless. it will only be an advantage with compatible wireless card in your laptop/pc and might not be compatible if you have a different make "pre-N" card in that... the official standard I think is due out next year, though it might take longer due to the bickering. Linksys ftw

    All much the same really.
Im using a Netgear atm and its fine.

I also used the Speedctouch routers and although they are a little behind the times they still perform well.

NetGear DG834PN - no question. They are very good and great value for money, I have one and have recommended them to several friends who also bought them and we are all very happy.

Only something different if you want to spend more money, and then a Dratek Vigor.

    DG834PN

    Thanks everyone for your opinions.

I've actually bought a Linksys WAG354G which at £43.68 inc p&p from Amazon Marketplace didn't seem too bad at all. Delivery is quick and I don't use wireless that often. I think I would have gone for the Netgear DG834PN if wireless range were an issue - I've been impressed by the range before - but as mentioned you need a compatible PCMCIA/ PCI card
