reccomend me a soundcard

right got an abit ab9 but had problems with onboard sound currently using a very old soundblaster live 5.1 for sound not good

i have an audigy 2 but it doesnt get picked up by windows due to the pci slots being so low down so cant get it to install so need a new card and need some suggestions

right firstly it needs to be cheap as i am skint secondly if anyone knows for definite the cards that will work on my board please say so

right thirdly some prices and links ideally around the £40 mark with post tops as i need to buy a new headset soon so dont want to spend too much

also am willing to use ebay

Your not going for those Refurb X-Fi's that im getting?
Why dont you wait untill ive got my X-Fi and i can tell you if its good or not, then you could buy one aswell.

.. btw you should hear him on TS with the onboard sound he gives off Dalek noises.

no wont touch refurbed stuff and want to know for sure if i buy another creative card that i am not gonna have the same stupid problems that i had with the audigy 2 and specific slots was ok when i had crappy graphics cards but get a decent one and put a good cooler on it and most of the pci slots were taken
