If the caps are pushing onto the ali heatsink then you've got a problem as they are likely to push the heatsink from sitting properly on top of what it is trying to cool.

Can you not adjust the caps so that they sit between the heat pipes which might give a bit more room.

interested in the tuniq as it has more clearance, can't find a local stockist nor does scan sell it

may just stick with my zalman

Iamateaf - the heatpipes are very close together so no chance of having the caps move around them
