    Agreed on the P5B deluxe, solid as a rock, great overclocker.

    If he isnt planning to overclock, then the ram is a waste of money, the cpu wont be as good as it could be for gaming. Get a better cpu and cheaper ram.

    Get a different PSU imo, the hiper doesnt support some of the latest motherboards. So that will cut you off in the future.

    Im extremely happy with my Corsair, its rock solid.

    Which ram should he get?

    I'm not planning to OC either, and have selected the same ram for my system.

    For no overclocking, pc2-4200 is ideal.
