WoW clone? uh yeah ok.
I stopped playing this around Christmas because I had too much going on at the time but I will say it's a great game. A WoW clone it is not. If it were I would not have liked it at all because IMO WoW is terrible.

Resurrecting a dead thread here I know - but is anyone still playing this? And if so, what is your opinion of the Mines of Moria expansion?
*still in LOTRO love over a year later*
I only started recently but already have no time. I do love the look of it though. Really nice looking game!
Not around too often!
I'm looking forward to the new codies published MMO, Jumpgate Evolution. Not really comparable to LOTRO but from what I've seen of it, it could attract a lot of people that are looking for something different to WOW.
Been Playing LOTRO from the start and reallyl ove the game. But you get the feeling they have very few resources. Bugs take months to fix, and when they do fix them they break other parts of the game.
I'm restarting my subscription somepoint towards the end of this month. Havn't played since around Feb this year, do really like it though
Used to be a regular player on the Snowbourne server (think that's the name, Snow-summat anyways!)
Moria revitalised the game for me, although I've never gotten into the endgame thing in any of the MMOs I've played.
Is this available on the a Mac at all? Other than BootCamp 'natch!
I tried it through BootCamp and the elf i made ran like it sh*t itself! Dodgy!
Snowbourne player here!
I started playing LoTRO and found it ok... until I installed The Old Republic. Wow, this game is just so much better... until I bought Guild Wars 2. Wow, this game is just so much better.
Hang on?!
Yeah, GW2 is far superior (IMHO)
