POssibly the most tense 1 on 1 dogfight ive been in so far.

Its all from his point of view, as he recorded the track and emailed it to me after.. hes in the G2 and im in the LAgg3 1941.

SUggest ya watch it from his point of view first ( make sure manual view control switch is down) then watch it again with the manual view control switch up and try and get a decent external on my lagg compared to his 109.

Theres an awful lot of flap, throttle and prop pitch variation.. with plenty of scisssors, split S's, spiral climbs and spiral descents.. a huge burst of speed and a power dive for the 109 to get out of trouble and lots of snap shots.

Thank god my lagg held up long enough despite the canon shelss he puts right behind my cockpit in one move.

It's a good track.. maybe some points to learn from all round.

the sweatiest 10 minutes of virtual flying ive had to date... I poull some stupid moves right into his sights sometyimes... and hes got a much better control of the FOV than I have.... I really got to do something bout this.

I lost him a couple of times,.,., anyway.... check the track,, Im goinna be doing a lot more post fight analysis from now on.. determined to become good at this game!

Wow, absolutely amazing Hat! After all that, one shot was enough to bring him down! Some nice moves there by the both of you!

Who knows, after a few months I might be good enough to put up a dogfight that good!

missed him too many times earlier aswell.. Im still not in the zone.. but im getting closer bit by bit!

Managed to drag the whole thing out for a good 10 minutes .. which should be enough for my wingie to join in and help

INteresting to note for those that dont use it.... he uses a lot of shots where he cant see me at all.. but is aiming at the airspace where he expects me to be.....

Be unpredictable and you can avoid some of these getting ya. Be predicatble and/or make a mistake against these guys.. and you're toast

Nice DF track. Goes to show how difficult it can be made for them.
