Far Cry 3 really? I bought it at launch (on Xbox). Just couldn't get along with it on my 55 inch TV. Fairly average textures and it kept dropping frames every 15 seconds. Traded in next day. Building a new PC now. Would GTX 670 will do justice to this game?

Look at my setup on the left. I play Far cry 3 with hdao, 90 fov, 2xmsaa, alpha blah blah whatever its called on advanced/enhanced, then all the other things as high as they go, other than post processing which I keep on medium. With a 60hz monitor and adaptive vsync @1080p it stays at 60fps almost completely solid. Does drop here and there but it's really not much or often at all. If I put post processing on low or even disable it, then the 60fps is completely solid.

I still think the Crysis games look better than far cry 3. The first Crysis is basically on par with it. Though they have different styles and Far Cry 3 generally has more detailed textures.

As for Hitman Absolution. I've been playing that a lot today. Got all settings as high as pos other than msaa which is at 2x and I'm not using 3d. Runs really smoothly and I definitely agree that it is a great looking game!

Does your Samsung screen support nVidia's 3d technology and did you get an nVidia 3d setup with your GPU? If you answered yes to both of those then get a game that supports 3d and show that off as well.

Metro 2033, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Rage or BF3 if your into your FPS's

The Witcher 2 is also a very pretty game

I hope you have an equally decent screen to go with your new gfx card because otherwise its pointless!
