well the US site as mike_w just posted shows that some of the stuff said in that leaked patch thingy was true (such as the crate dropping) - i dont think its fake, if it is it shouldnt be and blizzard should take note

It talks about the Warlock and Paladin epic mount quest, I'm sure they were never intended to get a free epic mount as well.

Paladins and Warlocks getting free epic mounts has been known about for a while, I'm not sure if blizzard ever confirmed it, but it's not exactly new.

:O I hadn't heard anything about that, and it seems a bit over the top, their training costs aren't that expensive...

heh but the quest to get the epic mount is going to be stupidly long winded.

Umm, just about all my spells now are going to be at least 1G to learn from now on, and then there's all the pet grimoires to buy (which are all at least 1G+ now), then there's any profession based stuff, so by the time we (warlocks) get to level 60 we'd have spent enough to justify the freebies

My level 60 train cost 18g for 5 spells... Warlocks aren't that bad off.

Which is the same price as level 60 for the warlocks.

The point was - it's not really so much more expensive for warlocks that they need a mount that's 900g cheaper than everyone else.

he is right, a lvl 40 mount is fair enough for free.. but the epic one they should have to grind the same as everyone else.

btw i have a warlock alt and i wouldnt want her getting a free epic, its just not fair on the other classes. If the quest is stupidly lonh i would hope it takes as long as it does to grind 900g!

Easy way is to add up the cost of all the skills, I'm virtually certain that warlocks even including the grimoire cost is less than the money i spend on my shaman's skills. The number of shaman skills per level is more like 8 than the warlocks 5.

Lvl 56 for shaman cost 24G+

    Even lvl 46 is 12G 50s ish....

Lvl 46 for Warlocks is 7G 60s... (so +5 gold for grimoires?)

What i do accept is shaman gets travel form at 20, so should pay some back in high costs. But i don't think a 900G free mount is on tbh...

totally agree... there will be a massive uproar if they get the free epics, enough complaints already.

I have the additional expense of buying portal spells at 20, 30, 40, 50 and having to spend cash on reagents to port people, druids and priests get this too with their group buffs. I really don't think a few gold on grimoires is justification for free mounts.

I don't know, they picked a class and got lucky. Good on ya!
