Ok, the server I play on, Zenedar, characters above lvl 10:
Total Characters: 13,899
Showing Guild: All
Total Alliance: 6,996 - 50%
Total Horde: 6,903 - 50%
A to H Ratio: 1 : 1
Close enough for me
Looking at other servers (went through a couple of letters only, but can see a trend) - there are some with more horde than alliance on PVP. PVE seems to be a bit more biased towards Alliance. I'd say its 75A-25H on PVE and 55A-45H on PVP although there are exceptions.

Cool, would be nice if blizard could do something like that, but then you would probsbly get all the people that want to go Horde going to the server with the highest % Horde and would just make things worse.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
You can get overall stats: It's 55-45 A-H for PvP and 70-30 for PvE across all servers.

Which is 2.4:1 against on Arathor
No wonder XR gets pummeled so often lol
