I'll paste stats but someone has finally made this weapon on the US servers. I've seen the reciepe for ages on Allakhazam but no-one has been able to make it yet to see the stats till now....

80.3dps! erm yes please, i'll even use some talent points on my shaman to get to use that hehehe...

You got the link for the weapon?, know there was a april fools about a legendary weapon, i only know of two legendary items so far, this and a neck item which also rocks.

I've been following a thread with a quest for a legendary orange lvl 60 1hd sword with 61 dps is the reward but no-one has completed it to date yet...

I think that most people will now want to change to mining and blacksmithing once they reach lvl 60... I'd certainly think about it!! The weapons you can make seem to be SO great!!

HMM maybe i should post the man hours expected to be required to make this....

Its in the hundreds at lvl 60 killing the highest ranked things in the game....

I do not expect to have this for a year...

Yeah, obviously it's gonna take a looooong time, but I'm sure there's other weapons, decent weapons, that you can make already, with just a couple of hours work?

BTW, what 1h swords/daggers can you make now?

TO be honest i'm a little frustrated at the difficulty of getting reciepes above lvl 250.
All of them require either friendly, honoured or exaulted status with the thorium brother hood, of which i have about 1/5th of bar towards friendly.

560 Thorium bars will get me half way to friendly.... Other way of getting status upgrades is in blackrock depths, and handing in Dark iron bars... Something i've not managed to do yet.

I do agree that the items i can make may well seem lovely, but in my experience blacksmithing is the most difficult proffesion in the game/and the most time consuming, unless you've got 1000G+ to spend on the AH.

5 Thorium is usually on there for 2G 50s buyout....

I need arcanite to make most of my lvl 275+ weapons when i finally get any of the damn reciepes, and thats 2 days cool down per arcanite per alchemist...

IT needs a re-agent too. 4% drop chance....

For that legendary weapon thats 1666! thorium mines if stats are right and 100 Days of transmuting...

We have 3 and almost 4 able to do this now, so its only 25 days, provided i can find the arcane crystals to do it....

Best dagger i can make is still lvl 31, and sword is only 37....

I've got a decent lvl 290 BS reciepe but its only green, and while its damn useful to have, its not that good in the scheme of things... And gaining those last 8 skills requires me to go mining for hours to get enough thorium to lvl up....

But i take the good with the bad, blacksmithing makes a lot of money, if as with all professions you provide the AH with the right stuff at the right time....

for instance is a very nice weapon... However you cannot sell these for more than about 5-7G now..

Yet it requires this to make it. 5G would only just about cover the cost of the ingridients. Plus its green to make, so likely not even get a skill up off it....

Plus i don't research tailoring etc as much as i do blacksmithing, maybe there are some tailoring plans to be found for Orange items too

Bliz have stated that legendaries aren't meant to be available yet and hotfixed any that you could get out. So I wouldn't hold your breath. :/

Some debate on whether this is an artifact or legendary. Also AFAIK no one has tried making it to know if it works.

May only be dropped legendaries they removed, not crafted also.

Butcher, there are pictures etc of it, thats the only reason i know stats etc. Definitely exists in US servers. The quest list, the whole list of things to get it etc. Maybe they hotfixed it out but it appears 2 got through.

They didn't remove any legendaries people already had when they did the hotfix, only stopped new one's dropping - be a bit harsh to take someone's weapon away.

Thorium is a killer to get. Perhaps we should try to organise some grouped harvesting for out BS's?

I thought the high level ores could only be mined from areas which have lots of high level beasts, therefore a group helping out the Miner's would be ideal!
