Apologies for resurrecting a semi-old thread....

I signed up last thursday and had exactly the same problems so given the OP posted in May about this problem it's shocking the same problem exists.

I'd get so far and get the slow poke error. The cheek of it considering it was them that timed out and not me typing slow.

In the end I got to the last stage and got the error, then tried again a few times getting time outs before the registration even started and then I managed to get to the account name/serial number part and it told me the details had already been used.

Yes, I had successfully registered and was ready to go and because I wasn't told that, I'd continued to try to sign up for another 10 minutes afterwards

Of all the MMO's I've played I'm surprised with how poor the website has been, often unaccessible, almost as though they are running it off the same PC as the zone cluster or something.

Things have been a bit broken this week actually, I think you may have caught it at a bad time. In general I don't have any problems with the website.

yea, t'is a pretty bad week, servers are all laggin and login servers.. dont even go there.. can take 5 - 10 minutes to log in to toon selection at times =\!

It's been all good since the middle of this week just gone.

I've been cooped up in bed with flu this weekend so have had nothing to do but sup endless bowls of soup, sleep and play WoW

Back during the problems logging in I found that whereas Dragonblight, a medium load server was having problems, Terenas (sp?), a high load server, was fine. My guess is they addressed the problems on the servers with the most customers first which although was a simple common sense idea, I liked.

yea, not got any problems now, log in is fine and have had NO lag what so every now on EU-Darksorrow server even when we got a full raid group over to IF and wiped before we even got to the gates (allis were ready and waiting for us... and we had 2 level 60s lol )
