WoW-Europe Account Creation Issue!

Hi All

Just a quick post, I bought the game this morning and every now and then I have been trying to create my account so I can get cracking on with the game. No matter what I do, if I press the next button from the terms screen, or if I manage to get to the point of inserting my address I get a message saying Slow Poke: Session Timed Out. No matter what time of day I try I can't get my account sorted. Dose anyone know if the account servers are down?

Try using different browsers i.e. IE5, IE6, Firefox, etc.

Tried every browser out there 2 different connections, no luck, keeps giving me the message at all stages of the registration. If it aint working by tomorrow I will just pedal on the game.

Are people having the same problem on the forums atm?
Tell people on the WoW forums what's going on.

I've had a look on the forums nothing has been said about it. I will leave it till tomorrow and give it another try.

I got it working as of yesterday, it was the account creation just having a fit, been playing about 2 hours as of last night and just on the verge of a level 8 mage so far, so all is going well. I am not putting in nearly the same hours as others and I seem to be levelling nicely

Cool. You are on Arathor, right? And you are Horde, right? If so, what's your chars name, am sure Leon or the officers can chuck you an invite to the guild. Membership includes benefits such as watching Redpiggy so desperately trying to stalk Leon and me throwing sissy fits!

Well here's the bad news, I am alliance and just been invited to join the Steel Phoenix guild as I got mates in it. I am on Arathor though and currently got 3 lvl 60's hanging about to dish out money when I need it for the mage traits. Its been a big help. When it comes to the quests they just stand back and let me get on with it whilst they swan off on their mounts and seem to disappear for a while come back and have plenty toys for my mage to get to grips with

I must admit, either its just me or there aren't many mages flying about, I come across a plate full of Priests but mages are hard to come by. I need a mage or two for the mage group quest, major XP to be had on that one, will make levelling a little easier.

hehe you can hunt me down once my mage has learnt a few rank 3 - 4arcane tricks then I will give you my name quite happily. In fact I was dragged along to a alliance v horde fight last night I stood well back and watched teh carnage unfold.

Yeah, it's fun isn't it! I'm liking Arcane magics, at the moment I'm split between Arcane and Fire. Instacast Arcane Explosion is wicked, especially when you see the amount of damage it can do in close quaters combat!

Oh, and Arcane Missiles rock!

Yeah arcane and fire seem to be the route I am following, although seeing the frost storm, now that is an impressive trick, makes the world fo warcraft look like England in the summer, snow and hail the size of boulders, now that is a massive AoE trick. Also training in Alchemy and Herbalism is proving very handy in making potions.
