I have been ill the past few days, this horrible flu type bug going about so I have gave it a miss due to headaches etc

May pop on for a while tonight if a few of you would like to do some quests at the furnace (need to do Alkar and Orozar) or possibly the Glint quest.

Would definately level up a bit before heading to the Furnace, its a very unforgiving area.

I need help with those 2 quests as with Alkar you have to split the group up into 2 and henchies are no good for battle plans needed to do Orozar

I managed to get into a good group, yeah we did suffer some major DP at one point but managed to recover and pull off the Alkar quest.

Just got Orozar to do now from the origional quests. I hope there is a few more quests once I have done Orozar from the warcamp or the guy you get the initial quests off, apparently one of them you have to fight this big robot thing in the heart of Sorrows Furnace. Cant see that one leading on from Orozar though.

I've been playing quite a bit during the daytime recently and I've only ever seen one other hexite online.

I am totally crap at this game but I'm trying hard to get better! Until a few days ago I only ever played with henchmen, then, when I was hanging around at the Frost Gate I got invited to join a team. Somewhat nervously I joined and off we went. My first ever online multiplayer experience. We completed the mission but didn't get the bonus. I couldn't believe how much more fun it was than playing with henchies. Since then I've been playing with real people as much as possible and its made me realise how much I need to improve. The last time I played (2 days ago) I got wiped out so many times it was truly embarrassing. Had to be resurrected 4 times on one mission! I think my character (E/R level 13 at the moment) is not good and I'm tempted to start over, maybe as a warrior/monk.

I could really use some help, but am I right in thinking that most of the folks here at Hexus that play do so in the evening (UK time)? I can only play during morning/afternoon.

I'm on alot of evenings, work during the days and most nights so its usually 10pm when I get on.

Try changing youre skills around a bit, and find a setup that feels comfortable for you to use, with my warrior I use axes and use skills that require adrenalin so when I'm in battle they charge up. So I first use my skill that uses points (cant remember which one it is, its a +17 damage one) to set my others away, then hit Battle Rage which makes my adrenalin charge twice as fast and gives me 25% movement speed increase then dismember which takes off 20% of oponents health for 20 secs then I hit with my armour penetrating skill (20% armour penetration and +17 damage) then hit with my final axe skill which does +34 damage. By the time I use the other 3 skills Battle Rage has recharged again and usually is about to go off so hit that again and repeat till oponent is down.

You get 2 or 3 warriors together, even better if one is axe one is hammer and one is sword and you can drop a high level monsters in a few secs. Very devastating.

Only thing I have found with warriors though is that they are very susceptible to magics especially conjure phantasm, health just seems to drop away when you get hit with that.

Have to say with Rayne iv played more with henchies than with humans and its been good being able to wonder around and explore, find the bonus etc without ppl dropping out or wanting to rush through it.

That is of course simply as iv not managed to find good groups to go in with. Need to steal some of the lev20's around here and power through some of the missions

Well annoyingly enough it turns out that my uni halls block online games, so I guess my active status will be restricted to the holidays, if even that

    Right,

Tonight I have removed all players (except Master Flash as he has stated he will be back) that have not been on for 2 months or longer.

If I have removed anyone from the guild that is wanting to be back when they get the time give me a shout and they are more than welcome to rejoin when it suits them better. I know that work / college / Uni etc can be quite hectic (last 2 especially this time of year) so removing guild members is nothing malicious towards anyone at all.

Hope to see some of you back online in the near future

right, to let you know what's happening

myself & my other half probably won't be online at *all* from friday 14th, until however long it takes to get DSL after the following friday - end of the month is most likely

after THAT, we should be more active, but you won't see us until then
