WoW Problem - Tech Problem

Hey guys,

I know there are lots of you who play WoW and im hoping that someone may be able to help.

I have a nice high specced machine (amd 64 3800, raptor drives, 2g ram, 6800 ultra etc) and the game runs perfectly. No slow down or lag issues at all.

Apart from at instance / zone loading screens. IE when you enter sunken temple, or when the boat changes continents.

For some reason this takes quite a while. My Wifes pc which i can see from mine - is not as high specced, but takes a lot less time at these points. Just wandering if anyone knows a reason why it might take a while?

I had this very issue, I dropped it to window mode and turned off vsync and it flies along at a constant 100fps atm and about 80 in instances and I have the 6800GT, try that if not delete your cache folders in wow, this will mean you will have to setup your UI again but it guts it
