Recommend me a sub-£100 digital camera

Had a quick search, and i made one of these threads back in 2003, but the budget was £350... My g/f has been wanting a digital camera for a while, and I thought I'd get her one

I really have no knowledge in this field, i'm sure she'd want a reasonably small camera for going out and stuff, but she studies archaeology and prolly would like a camera which she could use to take some decent pictures of the digs she goes on and stuff...

Any ideas? I've noticed there is a thread about refurb cameras in the bargain forum, but i dont know whats good and whats not - most only come with 16mb xD card too...

    Cheers

look good, and the bloke sitting next to me in the labs says its a great camera too not sure if it'll be too bulky maybe? I think i can stretch the extra 31p, just means less beer for me

Well you could get this http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=96277 but it has only 16mb storage. My Mum has the previous version and it is indeed smaller than the A75. My Dad has the A75 and whilst bigger it gives slightly better results. However they are both very good cameras compared to some of the cheapies I have seen in the £100-130 bracket.

2nd hand Cannon G series. I paid £650 for my G1 in 2001, it still produces very good pictures and can be had for sub £100 on Ebay now.
