Packard Bell Easy Note - Any Good?

My cousin is considering this laptop, it will be her first computer purchase (ever!). She's drawn to it based on looks, how it feels and certain other features. It's around £500

I had a Packard Bell many years ago (about 14 iirc) and I wasn't overly impressed, but that's a long time ago.

So, does anyone have anything to offer on this model or Packard Bell in general?

I'm personally trying to persuade her to go for a Dell Studio 15 but there you go!

We bought a PacBell Easy Note for Christmas. An excellent piece of kit. Very well put together plenty of power and speed. Nice crisp graphice. Cant fault it.

Can also recommend ACER, I have had a few over the years. But DELL?? Stay away they are only rubbish
